Entrepreneur and owner, Audrey Matson, loves this time of year because people come in the store telling her it’s their happy place.
Having been in business for four years I asked her, “What would you tell your start-up self?”
“Believe in your vision,” Audrey said. “Trust your gut but at the same time be flexible. And listen to what customers tell you.”
Growing up on a farm, working in retail and getting her master’s degree in horticulture fueled Audrey to pursue running a business focused on what she knows and what she’s passionate about. “The store is a great combo of what I’ve done in the past,” she said. “Knowing other people share my vision is very rewarding.”
