Biography
Diane has over 15 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and small business development. Her start in accounting began in the nonprofit sector serving as a bookkeeper and collective member for a small local organic produce food shelf. Since then, she has helped numerous small to medium-sized businesses and non-profits achieve dependable financial records and advance their accounting processes. She has a passion for sustainable practices, innovation, ecology-focused, and community-driven efforts that create a positive impact in our world. No change is too big or too small!
At MCTC she completed a certificate program achieving three certificates for Accounting Clerk, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, and Payroll Clerk. She’s continued her education with training in QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor Certification and LivePlan software amongst other courses. Always quick to learn new processes, Diane thrives on overcoming challenges, analyzing complex systems, and diving deep into her work with precision. She is thrilled to be part of WomenVenture and utilize her skills to provide direct support to the Finance team. Her mission includes seeking solutions for and implementing fresh accounting procedures with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency. In her free time, Diane enjoys exploring music, art, food, and the outdoors with her son.
