Biography
Born and raised in the Twin Cities, Andra is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, where she earned her BA in Communication Arts and Literature Teaching. Her career started in the classroom, teaching 9th and 10th grade English and facilitating mentorship programs for new teachers and new students alike.
At WomenVenture, Andra has worked to grow and develop diverse and inclusive programs that meet the ever-changing needs of women entrepreneurs. Andra is proud to have earned the designation of Women’s Business Center of Excellence on behalf of the organization. She is an expert in adult learning theory and an accredited small business consultant through the AASBC.
Andra is a believer in lifelong learning, high-quality system building, and mission-focused work. She believes that WomenVenture’s purpose and vision is essential to building an empowered, equitable community.
Outside of work, Andra enjoys finding excellent coffee shops, reading, crocheting, and exploring state parks and trails with her husband. She loves live music, her very cute pets, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
